Portass back gear

Hi everyone I'm waiting on some more gears to come but on my portass you can switch over the gear but I carnt work out how to set it up do I need to move the banjo ive added some pics

See after the lock in the pulley who is locked on shaft, then you must unlock the pulley from shaft then the backgear will work.
