Vega V Twin

This is the first ever work that I have posted on a forum

I am starting a modified Vega V Twin and I am making it 1.5x full size.
The articles were in Model Engineer in 1986 and I have redrawn the engine in Alibre

This will be a long job as I don't get too much time on the shed to play with my toys

Started with the crankcase and I am making this in 2 pieces rather than 1 piece as per the original design.

3" Aluminium Bar with a large hole bored in it.

Very interesting. You got my attention when I read that you are building this engine 1.5 times larger than the original.

Can't wait for the rest of the documented build. What's the final bore, stroke, and, displacement?

The bore is 1.125" Dia x 0.938" Stroke
