Hello All, i just got this engine from a good friend of mine that had this sitting in his basement for many years and i would like to get it running. I have so many questions... what kind of fuel should i use? what kind of oil should i use for the oiler? I opened the little screw on caps and it looks like you fill them with grease and then turn them a little bit to push some grease in? How many volts do i need to feed the two terminals? Do i attach the spark plug wire to the little button on the coil?

And does anyone know what the engine is? or how old it might be?

Sorry for all the questions!

Looks like Hired Man to me made from Breisch castings

Pump Gas or Colemans Fuel will both work.

Grease in the "greasers" on the crank and a mid weight oil on the cylinder lubricator
