Hi there I'm Nat from Thailand I'm originaly from Australia but reside in Chiang mai Thailand . I'm new here and enjoy a bit of machining and fabrication work to keep my mind active .I am not a qualified machinist and everything I have learned which was on a farm in Australia at a very young age has been pure trial and error learning .I have a lathe and mill machine here in Chiang mai along with various other pieces of workshop equipment .
I am very interested in the small I.C engines and plan to have a go at building one soon .I have just completed a basic steam or air engine that I built solely from my head no plans I just started machining and figured things out on the way.
This seems to be a pretty good place for ideas and may well be calling on more experienced advice along the path .
I tried to download a short video but it won't have it for some reason

G'day and welcome Nat. You've come to the right place for info on building engines.

Welcome to the forum Nat. Engine looks great. You can post a YouTube link in your post and it will auto update into a video so you can show it in action.

Try this like it may work only a small clip at6 psi
I'll post another clip at 10 psi some https://youtu.be/dphhnhlmFlc

Runs very nicely. Clicking on your youtube link gives an address without the split in youtu.be (h ttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dphhnhlmFlc&feature=youtu.be - I added a space to stop it auto embedding) which will embed itself in the thread if you post it.

Seemed OK from my page on the site but anyway thanks .

Why is it I can only seem to down load one picture at a time on here is there any particular reason like being a newbie ?.I tried to load a few pics of my set up but in the end it only downloads 1 at a time

On our end we just got the text link, which when clicked opens a new youtube tab. Weird.

The forum software supports multiple pictures, I'm not sure what's happening with yours. One the 'manage attachments' popup just browse multiple pics in the boxes, then click 'upload' and it should upload them all. Not sure what else to suggest (I've rarely uploaded directly to the site in the past as I used photobucket til the recent fiasco).
