Hello everybody. My name is Michael, I’m a hobbyist/weekend warrior machinist. I’ve been machining for about a year and a half. My set-up consists of a South Bend 14 1/2” lathe along with a Bridgeport knee mill. I’m an electrical lineman by trade.

What have you made in your year and a half and where is it you want to go? Simple steam is a good place to start. Once you get your feet wet more complex steam and IC engines are awefully fun as well.
