Hi,

I have been asked by the moderator to post an introduction message. I'm uk based near Gloucester, and have been model engineering for 45 years. I have made steam locomotives in 5 & 7-1/4 gauge, and several steam traction engines. The last two were a half size Mc Laren road loco, and currently completing a full size Ruston Proctor replica from 1904.

My newest Work is to do a long awaited build of some petrol engines, I have nearly completed a Little John model E half scale, and have a set of castings for a Jan Olsroyd Wright J5.

I plan to make a Holt engine too in the near future,

See some of my models and engineering on my website,

www.bailey-steam.com

Thanks

Colin

Welcome aboard :) Those are some impressive machines on your site. I admire the dedication it takes to makes something at or anywhere near full scale.

That begs the question - At what point does it cease to be Model engineering?
