Welcome Jake. wEc1 Nice work on the Briggs. Does your interest in machining techniques mean you're a machinist? What other kinds of small engines are you interested in? Got all kinds represented here on the forum. And we love pictures.

Welcome Jake, Nice work on that "Y".

Welcome to HMEM Jake.
Nice looking Y!

I am an antique small engine collector.
My home hobby machine shop was actually assembled to make obsolete parts
for those old "one lungers".

Then one day I decided to try and make a complete running model engine.
The rest is history.

Rudy,
I worked as a Machinst years ago, (1970s) until the steel industry gave out here in the USA. It was a nice way to make a living at the time. I am doing more software work these days but am warming back up to machining slowly. I have a couple of friends with working shops and am starting to look around a little more. Since I have been writing software for a number of years I am interested in programmed machining also. Most of my pictures are vintage engines I have restored. Enough about me.., I'll have to take a look at some of your stuff...
