I have installed 3 on my mini-mill. The scales are connected to the " Yuris toys" interface which displays readings on a tablet via Bluetooth. The set-up can also be used on a lathe.

“If” you have access to old android phone or cheap tablet with yuris toys software “touch dro” you can also go with glass scales for not much more money
I built an adaptor following online article using an inexpensive stm32 module

Based on the readout, this looks like the Aluminum bar version rather than the hardened SS version:
I have the SS version on my Mini-Mill & Mini-Lathe, with TouchDRO Adapters. The SS scales are less prone to mounting issues and I have had no problems for going on three years (Mini-Mill).
I bought a set of three Igauging digital displays. One actually worked. I also bought two adaptors for
plug in use instead of batteries. Sent several emails to these crooks and never got a reply.
I threw them in a drawer and then bought Shars displays. Shars digital displays worked perfectly .
They were installed about 3/4 years ago and never had a problem.
I recommend Shars.

I know a little about control circuits and electronics, and I know a little about program installation. And it's a very interesting project. But I still have a lot of work to do - I don't have time, I need something quick, compact, quick and cheap and durable as possible ( a bit unreasonable

How much do the things from your picture cost? Why not glas encoders? What do you want to use it for?
I made one DIY touch DRO last week, just because I saw it somewhere and wondered if it was doable. If you can get hold of the electronics components and an Android tablet, you can get it running within two work days. (that included buying the parts, failing to install the software, searching for alternative software, finding alternative tool, flashing the controller, soldering the circuit on a strip board and putting it into a small plastic container) I had the pin-out of the glas encoder from the vendor, so I did not have to "reverse engineer the wire connections!" Someone who has no issue with shitty failing software installation, can get it done in one day
With that tool the programming of the ESP32 finally was very easy.
p.s. playing with the touch DRO is definitely more fun than my 7-segment displays.

Straight out of the box they were satisfactory. Checking them, they were all working. In workshop environment (I have one on Mill Z and one on the lathe carriage along bed) they started fluctuating. My guess (confirmed -as I remember -by Yuri) is they collect a lot of "brum" and need shielding -which I will try. Yuri said wire shielding has solved all inconsistency problems (of this kind) and he recommends it for any remote display calipers.
I have these mounted on my mill and lathe about 3 years with no problems, if you use the supplied display take the batteries out or use a DC adapter as I found the batteries went dead fairly quickly .
I swiched to Yuris setup and all works great .
I mounted my scales and heads on nylon pads to isolate the units from
“Floating ground potential “ I think it was called , this causes the bouncing numbers if I remember correctly .
There was a big discussion on one of the forums and isolating the scale and head seemed to be the cure , worked for me .

I have the Igaging DRO's from Busy Bee as X and Y on my mill, and they work fine, have not had any problems. Batteries last fine if you turn off when not using
I just saw I-Gaging on Ebay, it's quite good and the price is not expensive, but when I looked at the shipping cost it was a real problem.
70 usd for 150mm length - shipping cost is 60 usd
82.5 USD for 300 mm length - shipping cost is 98.66 USD
Not an option.
