Mrs tin found this for me at a thrift store for $.89.
it looks like an Arkansas oil sharpening stone.
It is 4 1/4" x 4 3/4" 3/8"thick.
lot of pattern to it.
odd size for a sharpening stone or a coaster.
the top side is fairly smooth the back rough like a saw cut.
so any ideas.

Could be a piece of stone siding that was popular in the 70's-80's to reclad houses.If it is Arkansas stone,you've lucked into a nice little bargain :big:
