Hello there!
I'm a new member to your Forum, which I hope to be able to add some Wisdom and Humour as well as Learn some of the same from you other Members!

I am well into Live Steam, and have been for Thirty Years or more and have built many as the
days have gone by me!

At the moment I am restoring a "Drill Press" into a "Light Milling Machine" for my use at home!

Best Regards to all!

Hi, and welcome. I don't know if you'll find it at all useful, but in the 'machine modifications' section I had a thread where I did this too. On my machine, getting a firm hold of the end of the spindle (with an extra bearing) and using a collet chuck, both helped a lot in creating something use-able which doesn't break end mills.
cheers
Mark
