Barry and necchiom, thanks for your kind words. Sorry to say I did not keep a build log on this one. Got to say that I really enjoyed the build, plans from Jerry Howell were excellent. I spent a lot of time on the valves and valve cages making sure of fit and finish. After fighting turning the cast iron cylinder grooves on the lathe I moved to the mill and finished off using a rotary table and slitting saw which worked great. I really like the ball bearing supported crankshaft, very smooth and secure fit. Gears went well using a rotary table and gear cutters. Plans come with all the divisions needed for advancing the table.
