Started one of these back in 1979 but life took over. Now retired decided to finish what I started. Just a few cosmetic things to tidy up.

It's beautiful, but I've got you on the length of time something sat on the shelf. I have TWO Coles/Corliss' that I started shortly before you did, 1976-77 and have been mostly just sitting, a little work on them in that time but now I have lots of time and am slowly getting it together. Still needs a mill however, to make it much easier.
 
It took me over three years to finish a Stuart beam engine but I was working a full time job and three kids, so I guess I did O.K
