Hi Everyone,
I wanted to make you aware of a rare opportunity coming up soon to own a beautiful piece of art in the form of a Tether Car!

Dick Barbour is a legend in motorcar racing winning his class (and 2nd overall) at the 24h of Le Mans in 1979 with another legend, Paul Newman, from Hollywood fame. Dick won many other championships and was named as one of Porsche's top 50 race car drivers of all time.

Dick also has a passion for Tether Cars that started as a young boy. Over the years he has collected an absolutely stellar collection of pre-war and later model tether cars that he is now reluctantly putting up for auction.

You can now see these amazing cars (100 cars in total) and register to bid on them at this link:

Very cool. I had a prop rod tether car with a Cox .049 engine when I was 10 or so.
Very fun & somewhat dangerous I remember. Went on to their U control planes.
