Graphite needed UK

Hi I'm sure I've seen the answer on here before but a search turned up nothing.

Where can I buy graphite from in the Uk?

I need some myself so I checked this place out, but at an extra 150 UK pounds per order for me (extra delivery to Australia) it's a bit pricey.

Long story short, I did some hunting on ebay and found sellers of 'Stirring rods' for smelting gold, silver, etc. Quite a few sizes 1" and below. They say they're high density fine grade graphite and a 12" length of 1" diameter is only about $25 Australian (17ish pounds) including delivery from the USA. Even without delivery, 3" length by 1" diameter is 11 pounds at this Nogginend place.

I don't know if anyone has tried this stuff, but I'm willing to risk $25 to test it if no-one has.
