Well I am working on an Elmers #9 but while I am waiting on my mill to get here I decided to build an engine based on the first type of steam engine.

I got the Idea from the book
Making Simple Model Steam Engines by Stan Bray

I am not using the same dimensions and I have changed things up a bit.
I am using fittings from the hardware store.

Might work... might not... we'll see...

Looks like a nicely done job there! What are you planning for a bearing? Will you catch it between two centers?

after a quick attempt at a test fire... My nozzles are too big and it weighs too much...
