I seldom find bargains. Today was an exception. I paid $50 for a very nice Federal DTI, a near new Mititoyo dial caliper, two micrometers, one is a 1 inch unknown but nice, the 2 inch is a Mititoyo, a large dial 1/2 inch DI, telescoping internal gauges, and an unknown wedge shaped thingy. I'll figure out the thingy by looking at my Starrett catalog.The catalog is a really old one from the 50's or 60's but answers a lot of questions about tools.

wedge thigy is put together wrong. A Planer Gage.Reverse the slidy part.
 
That haul deserves a gloat, good job. The planer gage can be used as
an adjustable reference on the mill and for surface plate work.
