Besides been a good joining method I think that copper rivets look great but I have doubts about how to use a rivet snap. Do I have to buy two of them? Or do I need a combined rivet set-rivet snap tool? I'd greatly appreciate if you can help with general directions about how to use copper rivets and rivet snaps. Thanks a lot in advance :D.

You use one rivit stap held vertically in the vice to take the preformed snap head.

Then you set the parts together either with a combined tool or rjst a bit of rod with a suitable hole in it, this makes sure all the layers of metal are pressed well together so the rivit won't expand withing the joint.

Then you take the second snap and form the head from the projecting shank, some people pein the rivit first with a hammer and finish with the snap, I tend to just use the snap but it does depend on teh size of rivit and material.

Thanks Jason, I'll give it a try, hope I can get good results.
