I'm making J. Jonkmans stirling 60 and am having trouble sourcing the right bearings.
The plans call for open bearings 4mm bore, 10mm dia, 4mm wide.

Any help would be great.

Try a Radio Controlled hobby shop - they stock a wide range of miniature bearings - cheaper than industrial bearing outlets as well.

Darren,

You may get bearings in those sizes for free from discarded hard-disks.

Darren - go to SMBbearings.com and select the bearings you want from their catalogue then enter the numbers in an Ebay.co.uk. search.
You will almost certainly find the ones you want at a very good price.
I have bought hundreds of miniature ball bearings this way and have never been dissappointed.
Dan.
