Freeview ch12...
anyone been watching it? 2 more installments tonight at 5-00pm

So far I found it very interesting...Sadly he has passed on since..

John,
A friend of mine introduced me to several videos on DVD that were hosted by Fred Dibnah. They detail the development of the industrial age and some of them are about Fred's steeplejacking days. Most are available in a European
DVD format so your player has to support that to play them. Anyone interested in steam engines, engineering, mechanical devices will find them interesting. As entertainment they are on the top of my list

Cheers,
Phil

Good old Fred ,watched them first time with my dad when i was a lad ,all smoking fags and blowing up chimnies ,in a superbly unconventional way .

he did a fair few other series over the years too ,keep an eye out i think you would enjoy them .

"Did you like that " always well said when something involving lots of noise has just occured :big:

I had the privilege of meeting Fred at a Twyford Waterworks, Hampshire, UK open day.
He is sadly missed.

John
