Hi,
I plan on making something like a webster ic. About 3 days ago I flicked through a thread created by chuck fellows, it was a plumbers engine.
My questions are:
Would there be some way I could use a 316ss cylinder and a piston with no piston rings?
If I had to use piston rings would viton be a good choice?
I was thinking a 316 cylinder and a aluminium piston with 2 viton orings.
I don't have access to cast iron but 316, 4140, mild steel, 6061 aluminium are readily available.
Cheers,
Chris
