90 degree stop - to quickly set the right angle for the miter clamp on the band saw

For stock I used the work "stop" they provide with the saw. I never use it and it's cast iron and the paint matches the saw! Bonus.

Sawed using the newly fixed clamp... milled flats, drilled and tapped. It's screwed down but there's a pin under the lock bolt which keeps the stop from spinning.

I feel like I'm getting better at this stuff!

Great idea for the most common setting of the saw vice. I took time to set the mitre jaw and different angles and test it with a few cuts then I would scribe a line on the saw deck along the movable jaw. Later I punched these setting with a sharp chisel so that the movable jaw could quickly be positioned and tightened. This worked well enough for the precision of the machine but your technique provides a fine tuning adjustment that is useful once the saw get old and worn. Good thinking.
