New to model machining, but not machining

Hi everyone,
My name is Michael Macier but everyone calls me Mad Mike, I guess it is because I am a little off plumb. Be that as it may I am new to model building, I have been working in the metal industry for over 40 years. I have been a blacksmith, whitesmith, welder, machinist etc. I got my mechanical engineering degree in my 40's, anyway I hope to learn a lot of stuff on this forum. By the same token I might be able to impart some of my knowledge to the younger people.
