My big compressor is in the garage and my hobby shop is in the basement.

I was looking for a small portable compressor to run my engines for visitors
and a little air for a blow gun once in awhile.

Another weekend shopping trip ended up including a stop at WalMart.
I found this little Campbell Hausfeld, 2 gallon, 100 PSI thing there for $68
You know how I am about gadgets. ::)

That's a 12" scale on the table to give an idea of it's size.

I'll still be running to the garage to use a burr gun or any other air tools, but I won't
have to rely on 5 gallon portable tank for the little things.

It's not as noisy as I'd expected it would be.

You can hear normal conversation with it running.

Check out the model numbers against this recall. The Chinese quality control hits again.

My little CH compressor doesn't fall into that recall issue, but it DOES
raise some concerns regarding the Craftsman compressor I have in the
garage!

Thanks for the heads up!

Rick:
The Old Wood Working Machines website has a listing of all the different manufacturers of Craftsman products. It lists if your model number is 106.xxxx or 916.xxxx it is made by Campbell Hausfeld. The list can be sorted by prefix or manufacturer. The list covers all things marketed by Sears, not just woodworking machines. HERE
