Hi, I am a home hobbiest that likes to tinker and build things. After watching videos of scale hit and miss engines I just had to build one, or 5. After a lot of browsing I thought I would start with a steam engine. I have in my hands a PM horizontal #1 casting kit. All the castings look great.
I have a Grizzly G0602 lathe and a Grizzly G0704 mill that I am currently installing an EZ DRO kit on the mill before I attempt such a build.
Looking at the builds on this site has me excited to get started. Especially Brian's build of the same model.
One axis completed today.
