Hey all,
Engine modeling n00b here, just starting out. I have equipment that I am learning to use, but would eventually LOVE to build an actual model engine to throw into an RC car one day. Still looking for resources on that subject, so if anyone has suggestions as to where to start, it would be appreciated!

As far as equipment, I have an old South Bend manual lathe, a Grizzly half converted to CNC, a Taig mill, and a Tormach 1100M with 4th axis and RapidTurn.

Thanks John! What happens during those dates? I actually grew up in the Black Hills, always looking for reasons to head home!

Well it is a typical engine show. Starts 9 am on Sat. Lots of ic engines, hot air, steam and other interesting model machine bits. Most of the engines are running. Paul Knapp often comes with some spectacular engines from the museum plus his V8. Always a few vendors on site, As close as you are its a can't miss
