Well...I've been making swarf in an attempt to build an engine for my steam boat.
The challenge is to make a twin cylinder slide valve engine.
Started with an oscillator, then a single slide valve, then a twin slide valve.
Have to re-make the eccentrics though, as the grub screws holding them are inaccessible when all assembled!
Not sure how to valve time a twin!

Nice looking engines, time your twin as two separate engines.

As Mike has said, but also set each crank at 90 degrees apart so that you get self starting both fwds/ bkwds.
