I've decided that I would like to make a working model of Henry Fords first engine as used in his 1896 Quadricycle. Naturally I want to make the car as well, to a scale of 1/4.
I have joined The Early Ford Register to gain access to the George DeAngelis drawings and notes and will use these as far as possible.
I thought that the wheels would be a problem but have worked out how to make them but I can see possible problems with the ignition and carburation.
Has anyone on here built one of these to any scale and what problems were there?
