Cutting 10 threads per inch on a Hardinge HLVH-EM lathe

Want to cut 10 threads per on a Hardinge HLVH-EM lathe. Have th gears but not sure how to change out the end gears cause the normal shaped banjos wont fit the English/Metric lathe like they will on the English only lathe. Help.

Will the lathe not cut 10 tpi "native?" That seems odd. Will it cut 1/4-20 threads? In any event, you will probably get a fast answer on the Bridgeport/Hardinge USA Light Iron forum on PracticalMachinist.
