conrod

[hopeless]

Guys need advice from the sage....
The hit & miss I'm attempting to build is sorta coming on but I now want to make the conrod and the plans call for ms but wondered if it can be made out of aluminum instead?
any ideas?

hopeless,
you should be ok with either 2024 or 7075 series aluminum.
