I have recently been designing my own version of Cruebys radial. Many of the parts will be machined out on a Haas 3 axis mill at my school. Yesterday I started machining the deck for each cylinder. The screw size is 6-32. The pocket diameter is one inch and the deck is about 2.5x2.5. All the parts are built in MasterCam x7. I will post more pictures as the are machined. -Dylan

Looks like a great start - almost wish I had access to cnc equipment when I built mine! Will be interested to see it progress and run - keep the photos coming.

Dylan,
That's looking good. But I'm surprised you're using MC x7 a few years ago at my local tech school they were using x10 and x9 as the free copy? But now I have to do my research to determine which one you are working on. Good work keep plugging away at it.

A HAAS, a HAAS, my kingdom for a HAAS! I used one in a short course at the local Technical College and have never been really satisfied with my manual mill since.

Had time for two more sides today. I should be done with the other two sides in the next few days. What material is that, brass, bronze? Or is it just the lighting? Looking great so far!

I was finally able to get machining again. Here are a few pictures of the progress I have made on the cylinders. I was not able to get all of the tops of the cylinders done today but will finish them Monday. Then I will start on the cylinder heads and then to the master rod. All the material so far has been brass.
