I'm moving the photos with the price list to make it less complicated.

All the mics. are .0001" and carbide Except the Starrett 230 and the Tesa but the Tesa in graduated in .0005" on the thimble. Actually the Etalon is also graduated in .0005" on the thimble plus the tenths on the sleeve.

Also:

The case for that Etalon is just beautiful! I wish that I needed a Mic, but alas I cannot justify it ATM.

That case when I got it the bottom half was warped so I hand planed it with mini planes and got it straight them poly'ed it. Some nice figure in that wood. I also made the Emblem from a tracing off the computer screen then shrunk it to size. I probably have two days work in that case but I enjoy that kind of thing. The mic needed nothing but a little oil.
The Tesa case was plain worn thru the top and bottom so it got new birch ply and the mic got re-painted. It's mechanically in good shape. A friend of mine used it at GE for years and said it was his favorite mic.

The micrometer arrived today. It's in superb condition, and a very nice tool. Thank you very much.

I have another in my shop that was also a NOS and but came with a plastic case, it's in a mahogany case now. I think that's the best looking and best functioning 1-2" micrometer ever made with the insulated black grips. I have a little brother to it in 0-1" but I like the feel of a satin chrome in 0-1" and heat is not as much an issue with shorter mics.

I'm ending my micrometer sale so thanks to those who bought something and goodbye and good wishes to all.
