I'm hoping that someone in this forum might be interested in a brass skeleton clock kit that I am wanting to sell. I purchased the kit many years ago and never had time to start building it, let alone complete it! It was originally made by the UK firm "Classic Clocks" and there were a series of articles relating to building it from the renowned horologist John Wilding. All the component parts are beautifully packed as they were when I bought the kit and I have copies of the articles by John Wilding which I would include with the kit.
It's hard to price an item like this but bearing in mind what I paid for it and the very considerable value of the finished clock, I'm looking in the region of £650 for the kit.
I also have a glass dome and wooden base which I am selling and would be looking for around £125 for this.
The clock kit and the glass dome are situated in N Shropshire, UK. The kit could be posted worldwide but I think the fragility of the dome would restrict sending it to only within the UK.
If anyone is interested in this and lives locally, then collection in person would be possible and preferable
