I saw these on epay and was wondering if they are any good or just a gimmick?
I would be hand where you cant get to the other side.

iv used them in the past and no complaints. Canna comment on the quality of the fleabay item.
They are handy for sheet metal come car restoration but never had the need to use them on my toy making adventures

We use them all the time at work. Mostly in aluminum storage cabinet panels.

I think of them as semi permanent. That is the rivet eventually loosens up and thus you have a nut that turns when you don't want it too. For a bolt up that doesn't need to be disassembled and reassembled much they are OK. In some cases they can be a good solution in sheet metal work.
