Just joined a few weeks ago, there sure is a lot of things to do and learn on this group, I have enough lates now I need to get the practice of what you fellows can do, I made these for my wife, my sefl and son-in-law, they said they like them might just to make me feel good, fun to make, happy New Year, Lathe Nut

I've been thinking of making some also. How did you make the designs on the sides?

J. Tranter, I knurled a section, then cut down the out side edge, the took the part off tool and did the same on the other side and moved over and made the cut, the two with the step downs were done the same way, the longest was to bore out the solid stock, have fun, Happy New year, Lathe Nut
