well Ive started the motor after nearly 30 years since my last build
my Idea was to make a 3 Cly radial type motor with a difference the pistons are 120 deg apart the valves are in line with the drive shaft
theres a very rough sketch in the break room post and on here (you know some boys sitting around with a few beers throwing BS around)and trying to draw lol
well made a start the pistons are made they fit nicely in the barrels which are going to 19mm id tube
the eccentrics are made and the valve chest is nearly done
the pistons still need to be finished as well
but its a start although no up to scratch with the other talent on here
the only machines I have to make this engine is a very old m5 emco that moves and wobble like a bowl of jelly and a old worn out drill press
but hey if I can get the motor to run that's half the fun and I can work on my machining skills (new lathe please ) lol
all the parts still need a lot of cleaning up and polishing
will post more as I go along

Wayne

I'm sorry for the way I post I have trouble explaining in written words so bare with me please

I haven't seen a radial engine build yet.
This'll be interesting. Keep at it.

I like it! Look forward to your progress.
