When I purchased my 1942 vintage Monarch CK12, it came with a well worn 8" skinner chuck. It's only saving grace was it had bolt on jaws.
A few months ago, I purchased a 10" four jaw chuck with D1-6 mount.
I got that from Tools4Cheap.net for a good price and it shipped quickly.
I just found a brand new 10" three jaw chuck with bolt on jaws also with a D1-6 mount for a great price on ebay from missouri_mechanic_shop . It was missing two of the six camlock pins but they are the same thread as my 4 jaw chuck. ( I've since purchased a complete set off ebay )
I also picked up a mt3 bullnose center and traded my mt2 live center for a mt3 live center.
Makes doing projects much easier
