Here are a couple photos to show the progress on my Cole's Corliss. I'm not as far along as ZAPJACK has shown us in his wonderful build log, but I'm making progress none the less.

Please try to ignore the blue layout ink and white shellac primer (which is a great layout paint for iron castings). Also, ignore the commercial fasteners; these will eventually be replaced with shop made.

Ok, we give you a few more days to get it done (pun intended).

.

I did do a bit more. I added the exhaust wrist plate and pedestal. Still lots to do! My next milestone will be to finish the exhaust valve linkage. I'll then add temporary levers to the steam valves that I can operate by hand to make the engine actually run under steam (well, really compressed air).
