Hi, I can't find much on the loyal cycle engine on this forum so I decided to post a video of such an engine I built a few months ago. Design is by Nick Rowland.

Nick did not have any castings available at the time so I bought the plans off him and decided to make it out of barstock.
I'm glad that I went that way because I think that I may not have been able to fit the casting in my lathe.

That's good to know as he usually does not supply just drawings and is quite protective of the modified Loyal design. Keep an eye on e-bay as he has been selling on their though mostly the Type D but I was able to get the Tpe-B from him and a Type A from a private seller.

Yes that casting is an interesting one to machine, managed to get it onto my lathe and with plenty of counter balance weights could machine it.
