I now realize that Randall Cox was first he he.
But I want to give it a real crankcase.
Does anyone know how to get Randalls drawings, it could be a help.
Ove

Randall's original Open 6 drawings appeared in issue #1 of Model Engine Builder magazine. I understand he made a few changes since then. He also had some notes in issue #2.

Ove,
I hate to say that I missed this build. Looks quite well built, I'm going back to look for it.

Hi Ove, That is a very nice looking engine and I'm glad to see an inline six. I hope you will post a few more photos showing more detail of the block, head, crankshaft, crankcase, etc.

Best regards,

Chuck

I'm working on the distributor now and asking if it is ok with brass to the conectors or do I have to usr copper. I have copper but its not funny to turn.

Hi!
Now I have it running, not good but working on it.
It is Randall Cox Open six that I have built closed and watercooled.

Hi Ove,

Congratulations on a fine looking inline 6. It sounds just like the 302 GMC inline six in the dragster I saw a few years back.

Please keep us informed as you continue to tune and develop the engine.

Regards,

Chuck

It runs better now after some better tuning and smaller carb:D
