Hello everyone,

You guys have a great forum here... Great bunch of people!!!
I used to be a machinist by trade 10 years ago. Now, I feel like building machines and motors as a hobby again. So I started looking around for some machines. Just last week I found a Hardinge HLV-H lathe. I just couldn't pass up the deal and had to get it...

I'll be looking forward to to share my future projects with everyone here on the forum.

Al, I do have the tailstock and a ton of tooling with it. We wanted to reduce the weight as much as we could, to make it easier to move, so the first thing to come off was the tailstock... It still was very heavy...

zeeprogrammer, the project I'm thinking about are engines. Steam- Stirling- and combustion engines. Lots of ideas...
