Hasbrouck no 8

Has anyone built the v twin steam engine by Ray Hasbrouck.
I have just recived the drawings & started on the base plates.
I sold my last engine to buy a milling machine and a better lathe (colchester bantam)
On a totally different subject some months ago i uploaded some pictures of old mining sites.
I have recently visited a mine wich was wofking untill 20 years ago if anyone is interested i can post some pictures ,the machinery is amazing.

I have a couple of friends who have built the number 8 and Ray is a personal friend.

Are you having troubles?

Having a bit of bother getting the base and back plate at 90 deg
I need to get a good angle plate

Ah yes....that has been troubling to one friend.

A good angle plate is not a bad investment though.

II am coming up to near finishing my no 8 keep up the good work it is hard to complete but it will be worth it in the end, so far looks good regards lleuad.
