Good engine for casting

Anybody have a good idea for an engine i can cast aluminum for and then machine it ?? Nothing to fancy it will be only my second engine and im limited on skills at this time..Turns out i will have plenty of time on my hands for a couple months but low on money, so i cant buy bar stock.. but i have plenty of wood for patterns and plenty of scrap aluminum and propane for furnance lol

Any simple engines would work .
