Any clues as to what will stick to this stuff...?

By the feel of it I don't think much will stick to it....

Oh, I need to glue a small plastic switch into a slot, it quite a good fit as it is but a dab of glue would help hold it in place.

Contact adhesive might be your best bet

Hit it with a dab of hot glue on the back of the panel from the hot glue gun.
That might do the trick.

I asked this same question awhile back.

Lots of good info here. http://www.homemodelenginemachinist.com/index.php?topic=11186.0

I have not yet tried theses methods, but I have joined two pieces of delrin by getting them hot and then sticking them together. It was a bit tricky, but I was able to machine across the joint without seperation.
