That B-17, Sentimental Journey, flew into Yakima, WA on Monday and was available for walk through tours on Tuesday and today. 5 $ per adult and for those who wished a ride the cost was 425 $. This plane never saw combat. It was manufactured in 1944, and sent to the Philippines and was later used as a firefighting aircraft.

The Commemorative Aie Force has done a beautiful job of restoring this bird.




For the benefit of some of you young-uns the B-17 is the four engined plane.
