Famo WW2 Half-track

Hi people, I’m a newbie to this group
Have built several steam locos from 3.5 to 7.25 Gauge
Plus one 5 cyl 4 stroke radial engine.
Now starting on a Sd.Kfz.9 half track ex WW2 era in 1:5 scale.
Am still chasing drawings and sketches but that is just a time thing.
There is a prototype in park in Bukarest, Bulgaria so when winter snow is finished I can do some measuring.
One thing that worries me was the prototype had a V12 4 valve Maybach Motor which could be a big mouthful.
If anyone has suggestions I would like to read them please.

I know nothing about trains, or steam, but that looks fantastic! Nice job.

Thanks Cogsy, I worked very hard to find and use all the details from the prototype of both the locomotive and the two cars behind it.

HalfTracks are very unusual since WW2 so here is a photograph of my prototype.
Model to be in 1:5 scale
