Any advise on how to cut the water jackets please, the drawing looks to show a undercut in the bore, but some threads say use a `woodruff` / `key cutter`? TIA

I used a key cutter. Would have to check what size. If you have a dro use center of bore 0,0 and move accordingly

Then drop down and do it again. I think it took 3 steps to get the jacket cut. Think it might have been a 3/4 diameter cutter 1/4 wide but don't hold me to that. It's been many years.

Thank-you, that's the way I was thinking, just making sure I wasn't missing anything.

A woodruff cutter is a key cutter, just a different name, they are numbered by diameter and width of cut.
Yes, I know they are they same thanks, my question was re the process. Thanks for your reply though.
