Hi All
The Decauville is finally finished, I must say I have built several locos in both 3.5" and 5"gauge and this was the most challenging.
She is a coal burner but will never see a fire in that tiny firebox, it would destroy the paintwork.
She does run on air, so it's off to the display cabinet.
As for the next project it's another teardrop camper (number 2) and off the wife and I go to see a bit more of this big country.

Happy modelling to you all
Mike.

It's a shame after all your work not to fire it up and be a mantle-piece instead. But, I do understand about not wanting to ruin the aesthetics (paint/workmanship) of the piece. Make 2 next time :D, one for display and one for play !!

It is really a piece of art. Wonderfull!!!!!
How long did it take you to have it completed?
Congratulations.
