My wife and I have just returned from the local march and service at the memorial park, we seem to be getting more people attending every year. Anzac Day is a day of reflection for those that have given their lives for our country, and a thank you to other members of the armed services both past and present.
For our members from other countries, ANZAC stands for Australian And New Zealand Army Corps and the 25th of April is the anniversary of the beach landing at Gallipoli on the Turkish Peninsula in 1915, where a lot of our soldiers lost their lives.
