That's a 34-50-71960 drain cock.

I think that is a 5/32 40 TPI ME (model engineer) thread. Stuart sell the taps too:

pricey. But I suppose it is availability

I can also confirm that they are 5/32x40TPI as the same drain cocks are specified on my Sturat triple.

I was able to find the tap affordably on eBay.
