I've been trolling back through the various Works in Progress to get some inspiration for my next project and to learn a few things along the way. A number of build projects documented here use Photobucket for their photo links. Unfortunately, these photo's get deleted from Photobucket and most of the build progress detail gets lost for all time. So, I would really encourage those of you who do post their photo's not to use Photobucket to link your photo's but rather, add them as uploads to the forum.

Before we get carried away doing that, perhaps some of the administrators could comment on what implications that would have for the forum storage allotments.

HMEM's disk space on the server is quite large but it is not
unlimited. Using off site storage for photos and videos helps
to reduce the load on the server. That in turn helps to keep
the site running faster.

We do allow attachments here for members who do not have
an off site storage option. That area of our allotted space is
beginning to fill up as well. I am working to expand that if possible.

If you can use an off site storage area such as Photobucket please
continue to do so. If Photobucket is a problem there are several other
free photo and video hosts out there. If you can't find one please
feel free to contact me. I will host them for you from my personal
web pages.
